Since 1998, rooted in Thai heritage

 

Onbeach was founded in 1998 by Chanrust Pucharoen, a Thai woman with a love for Thai culture and art. What began as a small massage house with five chairs grew through years of learning and guest care into one of Patong’s long-standing massage destinations. After a full renovation completed in 2024, we reopened in 2025 with the same heart, now refined with a calmer layout, better privacy, and a more comfortable experience from the moment you enter.

“In 1998, I opened Onbeach with pure passion: to give weary feet a place to unwind and the mind a place to rest. Thai massage, to me, is more than technique. It is a heritage of kindness, a language of respect, and a tradition of Thai healing through human touch.

I began with a small massage house in Patong with just five chairs. Over time, guests returned, seasons changed, and Patong grew louder. Yet every smile after a session reminded us why we started. We learned with every pair of hands we trained, every guest we cared for, and every day we chose professionalism over shortcuts.

Today, Onbeach continues with my daughters, Kobngoen and Kobthong. Together, we have renewed our space with warmth, calm lighting, and a thoughtful workflow, so from the moment you arrive, the outside world begins to fade. We hold a Spa Manager Certificate approved by the Ministry of Public Health, and our therapists are registered health service providers (ใบ สพส.14 / Certificate of Registration for Health Service Provider). Hygiene is non-negotiable: fresh sheets are changed after every guest, linens are washed and sanitized thoroughly, and we provide select single-use items such as hair nets and face covers where appropriate.

Our 2024 renovation was created to feel like a true sanctuary in the middle of Patong’s energy. From non-slip flooring and warm lighting to private massage rooms and well-planned guest flow, every zone is designed for ease, from reception to welcome ritual to treatment, with clean bathrooms and quiet corners to reset.

Reuse, Reduce, Recycle

 

We take responsibility for our footprint in practical ways. We reuse pump bottles to reduce plastic waste, choose durable washable fabrics for long-term reuse, and reduce energy consumption through LED lighting, improved insulation, and water-saving fixtures. We also upcycle ingredients by collecting coconut flakes and orange peels that would otherwise be discarded, cleaning and sun-drying them before milling them into our signature scrub blends.
